Job Title: Program Coordinator
Hours: Approx. 20 hours/week with flexibility of work time between 9-5pm M-F
Compensation: $25-$35/hour DOE, with potential for growth
Location: Petaluma, CA (Ideally in office, option for remote work)

Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations and community outreach efforts. Key responsibilities include:
Database Management: Maintain and update our volunteer and community partner database.
Event Planning: Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling meetings and booking venues as needed. Provide on-site support during events by managing check-in, liaising with partners, and ensuring smooth event execution.
Volunteer Management: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of volunteer involvement for events and the Cool Block Program, including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, supervision, and ongoing communication to ensure a positive and effective volunteer experience.
Donation Reporting: Track and report on monthly donations, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
Communications Management: Post on social media platforms and create a weekly newsletter in Mailchimp. See example here.
Website Management: Update the Cool Petaluma website (SquareSpace) and create event pages on Donorbox.
Staff Meetings: Attend weekly in-person staff meetings to provide updates and collaborate on projects.
Skills & Qualities:
The ideal candidate will be:
Detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
Comfortable working with CRM systems and other digital tools such as Jotform, Mailchimp, Canva, Donorbox and Squarespace.
A team player with excellent communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email.
Requirements:
Ability to work in-office when needed, specifically for weekly Monday staff meetings.
Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends for events, as required.
Bonus Points for:
Living in Petaluma and familiarity with the local community.
An eagerness to engage with community partners.
Graphic design skills (experience with Canva a plus).
Familiarity with platforms like DonorBox, SquareSpace, MailChimp, and Jotform.
Proficiency in Spanish.
A natural fluency with social media platforms and strategies.
Wanting to grow within this organization long term.
