Rethink Consumption Workshop

Have you ever been interested in joining Cool Petaluma's block-based Cool Teams program but faced barriers to implementing it in your neighborhood?

Thanks to the support of our two AmeriCorps fellows, Auggie and Raelyn, Cool Petaluma will be offering a monthly Cool Teams program open to anyone interested in turning climate concern into collective action!

Beginning on March 25th, sessions will be held from 6 pm to 7:30 pm on the last Wednesday of each month.

May’s session:

Topic: Rethink Consumption: From food to fashion, we can reimagine the full lifecycle of our stuff, eliminating waste and pollution while increasing longevity and sharing. We’ll cover how to eat wisely, shop smart and share more, and vote with your dollar. Bring your own consumption hack ideas to share!

Location: Held at the brand new Porches office at 11 5th St (at B st)

For some entertaining and educational "Rethink Consumption" themed videos to get you thinking about our next topic, check out the Cool Petaluma YouTube playlist here. (John Oliver’s Food Waste rant is a great one.)

If you've been unable to implement our program in the past due to HOA restrictions, difficult neighborhood locations, lack of time, or the demands of leadership, now is your chance to participate. Don't miss out on this special opportunity to connect with like-minded neighbors!
