Green Business Certification Info Session

This quarter, Cool Business wants to help you get your Green Business Certification. We are creating a cohort that will support each other through the process so you can be recognized as a California Green Business.

The goal is to get this first cohort of businesses certified before Earth Day 2026!

This comes with free marketing and promotion through online directories, recognition from the Board of Supervisors, two store front decals and access to online marketing tools. Plus, doing it together creates a great opportunity for press coverage!

• John Pazos, from Sonoma County’s Climate Action & Resiliency Division, will be giving an orientation and overview of the process and benefits.

• Dawna Mirante, from Refill Mercantile, will share her story of what it took to get her Green Business Certification.

• For those who decide to move forward, we will be offering optional meeting times where we can work on our individual certifications in the company of friends. This way, we can help each other overcome obstacles and share resources along the way.
